Chilton Independent School District
Chilton Independent School District (Chilton ISD) is a public school district in Chilton, Texas, United States. It also serves part of Golinda. The district operates one school for students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Chilton High School is known for its extracurricular programs, especially football, and won a 1A state football championship in 2006 (the district’s second title). In 2009, the Texas Education Agency rated the district as “recognized.” Pirates Field is where the Chilton football team plays.
