Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Government of Maharashtra

The Ministry of Cultural Affairs is a department of the Maharashtra government responsible for promoting the state's regional culture. It is based at Mantralaya, Mumbai, and reports to the Chief Minister and the Maharashtra Legislature. The ministry was established on 1 May 1960.

Key functions
- Runs cultural centers across Maharashtra, including the Urdu Culture Center in Nanded named after the Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar.
