Michael Sutton (actor)
Michael Sutton is an American actor born in Los Angeles, California. He is the son of Joseph Sutton, a publicist, manager, and author. He attended Beverly Hills High School and earned a BA in Film Production from California State University, Northridge in 1992.
Sutton has acted since 1993 and is best known for playing Stone Cates, an HIV-positive teenager on General Hospital. This role earned him a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 1996. He served as president of Ardustry Entertainment in 2005 and has been a founding member of the Next Generation Council for the Motion Picture & Television Fund since 2003. He returned to General Hospital for two episodes in 2010 and again in August 2017.
