Hayyaru
Hayyaru is a Maldivian suspense thriller web series written and directed by Yoosuf Shafeeu. It stars Ahmed Nimal, Yoosuf Shafeeu, Ali Azim, Sujeetha Abdulla, and Shiurath Abdulla. The show has one season with 15 episodes and aired from February 16 to May 11, 2023. The pilot and first episode were released on February 16, 2023 via MS Video Club.
Produced by Ismail Shafeeq and Fathimath Fareela, Hayyaru involved production companies E Creative Media, Shy Productions, Eupe Productions, and 24 Entertainment Production. Cinematography by Shivaz Abdulla, editing by Yoosuf Shafeeu, and music by Ayyuman Shareef. Language: Divehi. Country: Maldives. The series received mainly positive reviews, with praise for the screenplay and Shafeeu’s direction.
