Menecrates (sculptor)
Menecrates was an ancient Greek sculptor who worked in the 2nd century BCE. Not much is known about him. The writer Pliny the Elder says he was the teacher of Apollonius of Tralles and Tauriscus, the sculptors who created the Farnese Bull.
