Menahem ben Benjamin Recanati (1223–1290) was an Italian rabbi who was born and died in the town of Recanati. He spent much of his work on Kabbalah, the Jewish mysticism tradition. His only halachic work is Piskei Recanati, a collection of Jewish legal rulings. He also wrote a Kabbalistic commentary on the Torah, a commentary on the siddur (the Jewish prayer book), and writings on the commandments. Piskei Recanati was first published in Bologna in 1538 and has appeared in many editions since.
