Memmo Carotenuto
Memmo Carotenuto (23 August 1908 – 23 December 1980) was an Italian actor who appeared in about 125 films between 1941 and 1980. Born and died in Rome, he came from a family of actors, with his father Nello Carotenuto, his brother Mario Carotenuto, and his son Bruno Carotenuto involved in the industry. Carotenuto acted in a wide range of Italian comedies and dramas, including Bread, Love and Dreams (1953), Bread, Love and Jealousy (1954), The Bigamist (1956), and Assassination in Rome (1965). He also appeared in The Wedding Trip (1969) and other popular titles over four decades. He is buried in the Cimitero Flaminio in Rome.
