Warwickshire Championships
Warwickshire Championships, also known as the Warwickshire County Championships, was a grass-court tennis tournament for men and women. It was held in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England, at the Leamington Lawn Tennis Club. The event ran from 1 August 1882 to 1931, with 49 editions, and was part of the pre-open era tennis tour. As of 2023, it is staged as a local county championship.
The championships began on 1 August 1882 and were first staged at Jephson Gardens. At the August 1882 meeting, a second event called the Leamington Open Tournament (1882–1931) was also held.
In the first championships, winners were:
- Men’s singles: Erskine Gerald Watson (brother of Maud Watson)
- Men’s doubles: G.S. Raynor and Edward Lake Williams
- Women’s doubles: J.C. Kay and W.E. Graham
- Pairs: Erskine Gerald Watson and Maud Watson
