Meine Pit (9 November 1931 – 1 February 2014) was a Dutch politician from the Labour Party (PvdA). He served as a member of the Senate of the Netherlands in two periods: 23 June 1987 to 11 June 1991, and 28 September 1993 to 8 June 1999. He also served in the States-Provincial of Gelderland from 1976 to 1981. In the Senate he was the party spokesperson for economic affairs and agriculture. He was the only PvdA member to vote against the Betuweroute. In 1995 he was re-elected thanks to preferential votes. Pit was born in Steenwijkerwold and died in Woudrichem, aged 82.
