Me & Max is a Canadian comedy TV series that aired on CHCH-TV from 1985 to 1986. It ran 26 episodes, with each episode about 30 minutes long. The show stars real-life couple Steve Smith and Morag Smith, along with their kids Max and David. The four family members play fictional versions of themselves, and Steve and Morag also portray other characters, such as neighbours and their son’s uncle Red Green, using split-screen filming. After the run, the Smiths went on to create The Comedy Mill, and Steve Smith later developed The Red Green Show. Red Green had appeared in their earlier shows, including Me & Max.
