Massachusetts Route 80
Massachusetts Route 80 is a 6.56-mile state highway in southeastern Massachusetts, running in a rough C shape from Plymouth to Kingston. It starts at Carver Road in West Plymouth (near the old US Route 44). The road is signed east–west, but in the Plymouth section it actually heads west first, then turns north and northwest into Kingston for about 4 miles, before turning east at Elm Street and becoming a town-maintained road. The route ends at Route 3A in Kingston along the Jones River, between Routes 3 and 106.
The state highway portion is part of the Claire Saltonstall Bikeway, a 135-mile route from Boston to Cape Cod. The road crosses the new US 44 alignment in Kingston but has no interchange; Commerce Way in Plymouth provides access between the two highways. Along its Plymouth segment you’ll find Parting Ways Cemetery near the Kingston town line, and on the Kingston side are Sacred Heart School and Camp Mishannock. Route 80 is entirely in Plymouth County and has been part of the Massachusetts State Highway System since 1953.
