Masizole Mnqasela is a South African politician and the founding leader of the Alliance of Citizens for Change, formed in 2023. He served as the 7th Speaker of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament from May 2019 until November 2022, when the Democratic Alliance ended his party membership after he made disparaging remarks about the party. Daylin Mitchell followed him as Speaker.

Earlier, Mnqasela was a Member of Parliament with the Democratic Alliance from 2009 to 2014 and the Shadow Deputy Minister of Home Affairs. In 2014 he joined the Western Cape Provincial Parliament and remained there until 2022, including a term as Chair of the Standing Committee on Local Government.

Mnqasela has a long history in local politics in Cape Town and Khayelitsha. He held various DA roles, including being a member of the DA Provincial Council since 2004 and serving on the DA Federal Council from 2012 to 2014. He was a councillor in the City of Cape Town from 2003 to 2009 and worked on coalitions that helped the DA win control in parts of the city.

In July 2023 he announced the creation of the Alliance of Citizens for Change at the Rocklands Civic Centre. The party did not win any seats in the 2024 general election. Mnqasela was born on 1 March 1981 in Nqadu Village, Qolombane, Tsolo, in the Cape Province.
