Maryland Legislative District 2
Maryland Legislative District 2 covers part of Washington County and is one of the state’s 47 General Assembly districts. It is split into two House subdistricts: District 2A, represented by two Republicans (William Valentine and William J. Wivell), and District 2B, currently vacant. The State Senate seat for the district is held by Paul D. Corderman (R). District 2B is vacant after Brooke Grossman (D) resigned on December 13, 2024.

- Registered voters: 86,264
- Racial makeup: 73.9% White, 12.7% Black, 0.3% Native American, 2.1% Asian, 0.0% Pacific Islander, 3.2% some other race, 7.7% two or more races
- Hispanic/Latino (of any race): 7.2%

- 42.6% Republican
- 34.7% Democrat
- 21.1% unaffiliated
- 0.9% other
