Mantova 1911, full name Mantova 1911 S.r.l., is an Italian football club from Mantua in Lombardy. They are known as I Virgiliani, I Biancorossi and I Biancobandati. The club was founded in 1911 and has been re-founded several times: Mantova Calcio (1994), Mantova F.C. (2010) and Mantova 1911 S.S.D. (2017). They play at Stadio Danilo Martelli – Pata Stadium, which holds 14,884 spectators. The owner is Filippo Piccoli and the manager is Francesco Modesto. They compete in Serie B, the 2024–25 season finishing 13th of 20.

Mantova’s golden years came in Serie A during the 1960s and early 1970s; the team was nicknamed Piccolo Brasile for its Brazilian-style play and wore green and yellow at that time. Later they switched to white and red. The club went bankrupt in 1994 and spent years bouncing between Serie D and the lower professional leagues. They reached Serie B in the 2000s after promotions from Serie C2 and Lega Pro, and were a strong playoff contender in some seasons.

In 2010 the club again faced financial trouble and reformed. In 2017 Mantova 1911 began in Serie D, and in 2018 Maurizio Setti bought the club to push for higher levels. After time in Serie C, Mantova was readmitted to Serie C in 2023 and then earned promotion to Serie B in 2024, returning to the second tier after 14 years.

Colors and crest: Mantova’s home colors have included sky blue with white shorts, and at times white with a red sash. The crest combines Mantua’s coat of arms with a light blue semicircle inside a red-and-white shield. Notable players who starred for Mantova include Dino Zoff and Karl-Heinz Schnellinger.
