Mamlyut
Mamlyut is a town in northern Kazakhstan, serving as the capital of Mamlyut District in the North Kazakhstan Region. It is the only settlement in the Mamlyut City Administration. The town began as a village and became a town in 1969. It sits among small lakes, with Lake Stanovoye about 20 kilometers to the southwest. A railway station on the Kurgan–Petropavl line serves the town. As of 2013, Mamlyut had 7,320 residents. The mayor (Akim) is Serik Bakeev. The time zone is UTC+6, and the postal code is 150900. In Kazakh and Russian, the town is called Мамлют and Мамлютка, respectively.
