Malik Zidi (born 14 February 1975) is a French actor who works in film, television and theatre. He won the César Award for Most Promising Actor in 2007 for the film Poison Friends.

Life and career
- He was born in Châtenay-Malabry, Île-de-France. His father is of Kabyle Algerian descent and his mother is Breton. He grew up in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés near Paris.
- He left traditional schooling to pursue acting, studying mime and theatre in Paris and later cinema at the Studio Pygmalion.
- Zidi’s first screen appearance was in 1998 in Les Corps ouverts.
- He gained wider attention in Water Drops on Burning Rocks (2000), playing Franz; the film earned César nominations for him.
- He appeared in Un moment de bonheur (2002) and Les Temps qui changent (Changing Times) (2004).
- In 2007 he won the César Award for Most Promising Actor for Poison Friends (Les Amitiés maléfiques), a film featured at Cannes and well received in France.
- He has continued acting in films and TV, and in 2020 published his first novel, L’ombre du soir.

Personal life
- Zidi lives in the Île-de-France region. He loves jazz and considers Michel Piccoli and Laurent Terzieff as his heroes.
