Malakheti is a town in western Nepal, within Attariya Municipality in Kailali District of the Seti Zone. On May 18, 2014, Malakheti and nearby areas Shreepur, Beladevipur and Geta were merged to form Attariya Municipality. In 1991, Malakheti had a population of 8,938 people living in 1,523 households. The time zone is Nepal Time (UTC+5:45).
