MCGS Barracuda
MCGS Barracuda is a Kora-class offshore patrol vessel built for Mauritius by India's Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers in Kolkata. Its keel was laid in April 2012, it was launched on August 2, 2013, and delivered on December 20, 2014 during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Mauritius. It is the first warship ever exported by an Indian shipyard and cost about US$50 million.

Role and capabilities:
Barracuda is designed to protect Mauritius’ exclusive economic zone and support a range of operations, including anti-piracy, search and rescue, anti-smuggling and anti-drug surveillance. It can also transport troops and provide logistics support, and it can operate helicopters (without a dedicated hangar).
