Lycoming TIO-541
Lycoming TIO-541 is a turbocharged, fuel-injected, six-cylinder piston aircraft engine with three cylinders on each side. Built in the United States by Lycoming Engines, it has no carbureted, non-turbo version—the base model is the TIO-541 (the related TIGO-541 is a turbocharged, fuel-injected, geared version). The TIO-541 family runs from about 310 to 450 horsepower, with a displacement of 541.5 cubic inches (about 8.87 liters). Fuel injection meters fuel in proportion to airflow, and the cylinders are air-cooled. The TIO-541-A1A was first certified on February 23, 1965. Major applications include Beechcraft Duke and Beechcraft Baron. Data from Type Certificate Data Sheet No. E10EA.
