Lupfen (mountain)
Lupfen, also known as Hohenlupfen, is a mountain in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is the highest point in the Baar region, rising to 977 metres (3,205 feet). The mountain stands out from its surroundings and is sometimes called the “King of the Baar.” Hohenlupfen Castle once sat on the mountain, and the Counts of Lupfen lived there for about 500 years. At the summit there is a tower called Lupfenturm.
