Luca Tranchino is an Italian production designer and art director who works on films and TV. He has served as production designer on The Legend of Hercules (2014), Unfinished Business (2015), The Ottoman Lieutenant (2017), and The Doorman (2020). As an art director, his credits include Gangs of New York (2002), Cold Mountain (2003), The Aviator (2004), Casanova (2005), Hugo (2011), To Rome with Love (2012), and Seventh Son (2015). He won the 2011 ADG Excellence in Production Design Award for Hugo. In TV, he designed sets for Prison Break in 2016 and for the Sky Atlantic series Domina in 2020. In 2023 he designed sets for Netflix’s The Decameron, building the main Villa Set on Stage 5 at Cinecittà, the studio’s biggest stage.
