Luany
Luany Vitória da Silva Rosa, known as Luany, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Atlético Madrid in Liga F. She was born on February 3, 2003, in Nova Iguaçu, Brazil, and is 1.64 meters tall. She wears number 22 for Atlético Madrid.
Luany began her youth career with Daminhas da Bola, then played for Fluminense (2019–2021) and Grêmio (2022). Her senior club career started at Fluminense (2019–2021) with 13 appearances and 2 goals. She then moved to Grêmio (9 appearances, 3 goals) before joining OL Reign in 2023. She did not appear for OL Reign and was loaned to Madrid CFF for the 2023–2024 season, where she played 26 games and scored 6 goals. In 2024 she joined Atlético Madrid and has since made 14 appearances, scoring 3 goals.
Internationally, Luany has represented Brazil at the youth and senior levels. She played for Brazil U20 in 2022, earning 12 caps and scoring 1 goal, and helped Brazil win the South American U-20 Championship in 2022. She participated in the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. She debuted for the Brazil senior team in 2025 and, by November 2025, has 10 caps and 4 goals. She also represented Brazil at the 2025 Copa América Femenina in Ecuador.
