Dave Cormack is a US-based Scottish entrepreneur and the Chairman of Aberdeen Football Club. He founded several software companies, including Soft Systems, MiracleWorkers.com, and Brightree, and now chairs Curve Dental Software as a Limited Partner with Battery Ventures.

Cormack started Soft Systems in London, selling it in 1995 to IQ Software. He then launched MiracleWorkers.com, a healthcare recruiting site, which was sold to CareerBuilder in 2000. In 2005 he founded Brightree, a healthcare software company, where he served as president and CEO before selling it to ResMed for $800 million in 2016.

In 2024, Robert Gordon University awarded him an Honorary Doctorate in Business. He previously served as Aberdeen FC CEO from 2000 to 2001, returned in 2017 as an investor and board member, and later became Vice-Chairman, with the club’s training facility named after him. He became Chairman of Aberdeen in 2019, and the team won the Scottish Cup in 2025, their first in 35 years.

Cormack has also served on the board of WebPT and co-founded the Cormack Family Charitable Foundation with his wife, Fiona.
