Loungin is a song by American rapper LL Cool J featuring Total, released June 25, 1996 as the third and final single from his sixth album, Mr. Smith. The original LP version, produced by Rashad Smith, includes backing vocals by Terri & Monica and samples Al B. Sure!'s "Nite and Day." A radio remix, titled Loungin (Who Do Ya Luv), was remixed by Trackmasters (as Tone) and appears on the Good Burger soundtrack with Total; this version samples Bernard Wright's "Who Do You Love" and later appeared on LL Cool J's All World: Greatest Hits and in his TV show In the House. The single's B-side was "Summer Luv." The track was a big hit, reaching #3 on the Billboard Hot 100, #1 on Hot Rap Singles, and #4 on Hot R&B Singles, selling 1.3 million copies and earning a platinum RIAA certification. The music video, directed by Hype Williams, features LL Cool J having an affair with a woman unhappy in her relationship, with cameos from Funkmaster Flex and performances by Total.
