Eden Rugby Club is a rugby union club based in Sandringham, Auckland, New Zealand. Founded in 1922, it is part of the Auckland Rugby Football Union. The club moved to Gribblehirst Park in 1930, where it has been based ever since. Eden is the closest Auckland club to Eden Park and once tried to build clubrooms there in the 1920s. They won the Gallaher Shield in 2021, beating Grammar TEC 19-10. Six All Blacks have played for Eden—Angus Ta'avao, Bruce McLeod, Frank McMullen, Ron Urlich, Ron Dobson and Hud Rickit (though not when they were selected for international play). Today Eden runs senior and junior teams and also operates men's and women's touch rugby in the summer.
