London on da Track
London on da Track, born London Tyler Holmes on March 27, 1991, is an American record producer and rapper from Atlanta. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and moved to Atlanta as a child, where he learned piano in church. After high school, he studied at Full Sail University briefly but didn’t graduate. He started rapping with a group called Dem Guyz and began making beats to save money. He built early fame by producing for the Rich Kidz, with their track Pieon earning radio play.
In 2011 he worked with Young Thug, and by 2014 he became an in-house producer for Cash Money’s Rich Gang. His first Billboard Hot 100 entry came with Tyga’s Hookah. In 2013, Complex named him one of “25 New Producers To Watch For,” and three of his productions charted on the Hot 100 at the same time: Rich Gang’s Lifestyle, T.I.’s About the Money, and Tyga’s Hookah.
London on da Track has produced for many big names, including Kodak Black, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Ariana Grande, Summer Walker and more. He has also appeared on TV shows such as Black Ink Crew: Chicago (2018) and Rhythm + Flow (2019), and was named a Spotify Secret Genius Ambassador in 2018. In March 2020, he produced and co-wrote Ariana Grande’s Positions, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 and global charts.
He has four children: a daughter with Summer Walker born in 2021, and two other daughters and a son from previous relationships.
