Livingston Mall is a two-level shopping center in Livingston, New Jersey, with about 968,820 square feet of space. Located near the Passaic River, it serves shoppers from Essex, Morris and Union counties. The mall’s current anchors are Macy’s and Barnes & Noble.

The mall opened in stages: Bamberger’s started in 1971, and the full shopping center opened in 1972 with Sears and Hahne & Co. Over the years, stores changed—Bamberger’s became Macy’s in 1986, and Hahne’s became Lord & Taylor in 1989. In 2020, Sears and Lord & Taylor closed.

In 2021, Livingston Township approved a plan to refresh the mall. In 2025, the township approved a plan to redevelop the site into higher-density housing. In early 2026, Barnes & Noble announced it would move to a nearby shopping center by 2027, and Macy’s said it would close its Livingston store in early 2026.

The mall sits at Eisenhower Parkway and South Orange Avenue and is accessible from Interstates 280, 10, 24, 78 and 287. Public transit includes NJ Transit buses 70, 73 and 873, Community Coach bus 77, and the Livingston Express Shuttle to the mall and South Orange station.
