List of nuclear weapons tests of North Korea

North Korea conducted six underground nuclear tests at the Punggye-ri Nuclear Test Site between 2006 and 2017. The tests were in 2006, 2009, 2013, twice in 2016, and in 2017. Estimates of the bombs’ yields vary: about 140 kilotons (U.S. intelligence), about 160 kilotons (revised Japanese government estimates), and about 250 kilotons (38 North and revised NORSAR estimates).
