Katteni-Shiyagare is a Japanese swing and jazz band with punk influences. They formed in 1997 and released their major-label debut in 2004 on Epic Records Japan. In the United States, they’re best known for two anime openings: “Auvers Blue” for Kemonozume and “Ragtime” for Gallery Fake. They also recorded a cover of Cole Porter’s “You’d Be So Nice to Come Home To” with Mika Nakashima, which appeared on a Katteni-Shiyagare tribute album and was included with Nakashima’s single “Eien no Uta.”
