Arboretum du Chemin de la Découverte
Arboretum du Chemin de la Découverte is a tree garden in Melle, Deux-Sèvres, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. It is free to visit and open every day. The arboretum opened in 1987 on a disused railway line that runs about 6 km. Today it has over 1,000 species of woody plants, with large collections of ash, birch, chestnut, hackberry, hornbeam, lime trees, and willows. It also features more than 250 varieties of roses.
