Romania's most expensive football transfers (Liga I): The biggest transfer fee paid for a Liga I player is Dennis Man, who moved from FCSB to Parma for €11 million plus add-ons on 29 January 2021. Before him, the record was Nicolae Stanciu, bought by Anderlecht from FCSB in 2017 for €9.8 million.
