Indonesia is the world’s fourth most populous country and has a strong diplomatic role in Southeast Asia as the home of ASEAN, in the Non-Aligned Movement, and in the Muslim world as the largest Muslim-majority country. It maintains a wide network of embassies, consulates, and permanent missions to international organizations. This list excludes honorary consulates and trade missions, with the exception of the economic and trade office in Taipei, which serves as Indonesia’s de facto embassy to Taiwan.
