Rob Kinelski, full name Robert Michael Kinelski (born January 27, 1981), is an American audio engineer, mixer, and record producer. He is best known for his work with Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas, as well as artists like Lil Dicky, Big Sean, Karol G, Joji, Beyoncé, and NewJeans. In 2020 he won four Grammy Awards for mixing Billie Eilish's debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. He was born in Staten Island, New York, and grew up in Howell Township, New Jersey, where he finished Howell High School and later studied at the SAE Institute in Manhattan. He began his career at Sony Studios New York, engineering for artists such as Swizz Beatz, LL Cool J, and Beyoncé on her Grammy-winning album B'Day. He moved to Los Angeles in 2009 and worked with No I.D., J. Cole, Rihanna, Nas, Common, Vince Staples, Jhené Aiko, and Big Sean as part of Cocaine 80s. Since 2018, he has closely collaborated with Billie Eilish and Finneas, mixing most of their music.
