JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is an anime based on Hirohiko Araki's manga. The manga ran in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1987 to 2004 and moved to Ultra Jump in 2005. The series follows the Joestar family across generations from the late 1800s to modern times, including a separate continuity beyond the sixth part. It started on Tokyo MX and later aired on JNN stations, BS11, and Animax.

Season 1 adapts Parts 1 and 2, Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency, and aired in Japan from October 2012 to April 2013. In North America, Warner Home Video released the series on DVD, while Viz Media released Blu-ray and merchandising. In the US, Toonami began airing JoJo in October 2016.

Season 2 covers Part 3, Stardust Crusaders, and was shown in two parts: April–September 2014 and January–June 2015.

Season 3 covers Part 4, Diamond Is Unbreakable, in 2016 (April–December).

Season 4 covers Part 5, Golden Wind, from October 2018 to July 2019.

Season 5 covers Part 6, Stone Ocean. It premiered worldwide on Netflix in three parts: December 2021, September 2022, and December 2022. In Japan, a TV run began in January 2022.

Season 6, covering Part 7, Steel Ball Run, was announced in April 2025 and is planned to premiere on Netflix on March 19, 2026.
