Liepna is a small village and the administrative center of Liepna Parish in Alūksne Municipality, Latgale, Latvia. It sits on the Liepna River where highways P41 and P42 meet, about 34 km from Alūksne and 233 km from Riga. The village grew after 1840 near Lipna manor and became a densely populated area in 1926. Today Liepna has parish administration, two shops, a primary school, a folk house, a library, an ambulance service, and three churches (Catholic, Lutheran, and Orthodox). A boarding primary school operated until 2019. The population was 374 in 2022. The elevation is 125 meters, and the postal code is LV-4354.
