Liberty Counsel is an Irish-bred racehorse and a mare. She won the Irish Grand National in 2013. She had been a long shot after losing at Cheltenham a few weeks earlier. Born March 23, 2003, she is by Leading Counsel out of My Free Mantel Vii. Trained by Dot Love and ridden by Ben Dalton, Liberty Counsel won the race by half a length at odds of 50-1.
