Leong Yong Kong is a Malaysian politician and doctor from Gurun, Kedah. He is a member of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA), which is part of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition, and he earned his MBBS from the University of Agra.

He served as the Kedah State Legislative Assembly member for Gurun from March 2008 to May 2018, after winning the seat in the 2008 and 2013 elections.

He was a Kedah State Executive Councillor from 20 March 2014, under Menteri Besar Mukhriz Mahathir (and later Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah). His original portfolio was Environment, Chinese Community Affairs, Health and Unity. On 11 May 2015, Indian Community Affairs was added, and on 22 February 2016, Siamese Community Affairs was added as well.

In May 2016, Leong briefly announced he would quit MCA over concerns about Islamic criminal law, but he reversed the decision on 1 June and remained with MCA.
