Leninskyi District is an urban district of Donetsk, Ukraine, in Donetsk Oblast. It covers 85.8 square kilometers. About 106,269 people lived there in 2001. The district uses the Eastern European Time zone (UTC+2) and switches to daylight saving time (UTC+3) in summer. It was created in 1937 as Factory-Stalin Raion and is named after the Soviet leader Vladimir Lenin. It is located at about 47.97°N, 37.80°E.
