Lectionary 117
Lectionary 117 (ℓ 117) is a Greek New Testament manuscript on parchment, dated to the 11th century. It is an Evangelistarium, containing lessons from the Gospel of John for selected days, written on 119 parchment leaves measuring 33.6 by 27.5 cm. The text is in Greek minuscule, in two columns per page with ten lines per page. It includes a Menologion and illustrations; Scrivener noted it as beautifully written in gold ink. The manuscript was brought from Constantinople to Trebizond by Michael Collurenites and returned to Constantinople in 1330. Scholz added it to the list of New Testament manuscripts; it has been examined by Bandini, Birch, and Scholz, with Birch assigning it the number 38. It is not cited in UBS3. It is currently housed in the Biblioteca Laurenziana (Med. Pal. 244) in Florence.
