Acanthophorus is a genus of longhorn beetles in the subfamily Prioninae, native to the Indian subcontinent. It is monotypic, containing only one species, Acanthophorus serraticornis. Other species formerly placed in the genus have been moved to different genera. The beetles can reach nearly 10 cm in length, making them among the largest beetles in India. They are reddish-brown. Males may have much larger mandibles than females, with two to three strong teeth from the midsection to the tip. The antennae have 12 segments, with segments 5 to 11 bearing a spiny outgrowth at the tip.
