LeafyIsHere
Calivin Lee Vail (born 1995 or 1996) is an American former internet personality famous as LeafyIsHere. He ran a YouTube channel from 2011, posting mainly commentary, drama, and story-time videos. He gained popularity for reacting to other videos and online culture, often talking about other creators like Onision.
In 2015–2016 he experienced a swatting campaign while living in Layton, Utah. That year he faced major criticism from peers; iDubbbz released a Content Cop episode accusing him of cyberbullying, and Vail accused Evalion of Nazism. He also posted videos about Milo Stewart that YouTube later removed for hateful content.
Starting in December 2017, LeafyIsHere paused his channel for more than two years. He returned in March 2020 with videos targeting iDubbbz, and in July 2020 he began criticizing Twitch streamer Pokimane and her supporters.
On August 21, 2020, YouTube permanently terminated LeafyIsHere for repeated harassment violations. After the ban, he moved to streaming on Twitch and posting on other platforms like StoryFire and Rumble. His Twitch account was banned on September 11, 2020 for hateful conduct and threats. He also had clashes with Ethan Klein.
Leafy’s old Twitter account @LeafyIsHere was brought back in December 2021 but was suspended again in 2022. Before the ban, LeafyIsHere had about 4.9 million subscribers and 1.2 billion views on YouTube.
