Ciarán Murtagh
Ciarán Murtagh (born 1992) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for St Faithleachs and the Roscommon county team. He is the son of Andy and Breda Murtagh. He studied corporate law at NUI Galway and later trained to become a teacher at the Marino Institute of Education. While at Galway he played in the Sigerson Cup for the university team. Murtagh made his senior championship debut for Roscommon in the 2014 Connacht Championship quarter-final against Leitrim and scored a late goal against Down in the 2014 All-Ireland Championship. He has captained Roscommon and has also played for Donegal Boston. He won a Connacht title with Roscommon in 2017.
