Aadi Shankaracharya (TV series)
Aadi Shankaracharya is an Indian socio-historical web series that tells the life and legacy of Adi Shankaracharya, a major figure in Indian spirituality and culture. It focuses on his early life, spiritual journey, and how he helped unite India, which once consisted of more than 300 states and 72 religious groups. His message of oneness is shown to have brought harmony and reshaped India's spiritual and political landscape. The series is produced by Sri Sri Publications Trust and ONM Multimedia and presented by The Art of Living. It is directed and written by Onkar Nath Mishra. The cast includes Arnav Kahnijo, Sandeep Mohan, Gagan Malik, Yogesh Mahajan, and Arun Shekhar, and filming took place in Mumbai and Bengaluru. The show released on 1 November 2024.
