Amos Magezi

Amos Magezi is an Anglican bishop in Uganda. He has led the Northwest Ankole diocese since 2017. Born in 1963 in Kyeizooba, Bushenyi District, he studied at Rwatsinga School, the Reformed Theological Seminary, and Uganda Christian University. In 2001 he became the Diocesan Mission Coordinator for Ankole, and in 2010 he served as Chaplain of Mbarara High School and Dean of St. James Cathedral Ruharo. He was consecrated as bishop on 1 October 2017 at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Ibanda.
