Lakhon Me Ek
Lakhon Me Ek (One in a Million) is a 1971 Indian Hindi comedy-drama film directed by S. S. Balan. It stars Mehmood and Radha Saluja and is a remake of the Tamil film Ethir Neechal (1968). The movie features music by R. D. Burman and was produced by Gemini Studios. It released on 9 April 1971 in India.
Plot
Bhola, played by Mehmood, struggles to survive in a Bombay chawl, doing odd jobs and studying with support from a kind professor. He forms a close bond with Gauri, played by Radha Saluja. The arrival of a wealthy man from Singapore, Jaggu, who claims Bhola is his son and heir, sets off a series of dramatic and comic events as Bhola navigates love, family, and his uncertain future.
