Lake Weaver

Lake Weaver is a natural freshwater lake in Lake Wales, Florida. It is also commonly called Lake Weader. The lake covers about 14 acres and sits roughly 115 feet above sea level. It lies north of Central Avenue and east of U.S. Highway 27. A small park is at the southwest corner, and a residential area is on the northeast shore; the north side is wooded. Businesses line Central Avenue and the southeast shore. Boating and swimming are not allowed, but the south and southeast shores are open for public fishing. The lake contains blue catfish, bullhead catfish, and gar.
