Lake Cannon is a natural freshwater lake in Winter Haven, Florida. It covers about 333 acres, and is almost round. The lake is about 1,398 meters long and 1,245 meters wide. It sits about 131 feet above sea level, with an average depth of 13 feet and a maximum depth of 16 feet.

The lake sits in a highly urbanized area. On the north shore there is some vacant land and the Boys Club. The rest of the lake is lined with homes. Lake Mirror lies about 300 feet to the east and Lake Howard about 500 feet to the southeast.

Lake Cannon was first mapped by Dr. John Westcott for the U.S. government. It was originally named Lake Canon, but the United States Army renamed it Lake Cannon during the Seminole Wars.

There are no public boat ramps or swimming areas on the lake itself. However, on the northeast shore along East Lake Cannon Drive is Lake Cannon Public Park, which has picnic tables and a fishing dock. On the northwest shore, just south of the Boys Club, is a public boat ramp. Boats can reach Lake Cannon from four canals that connect to other lakes: Mirror Lake, Howard Lake, Lake Idylwild to the north, and Lake Blue to the west. Lake Cannon is part of the south system of the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes, so it can be reached from many public boat ramps in the system.

The Take Me Fishing site lists largemouth bass, bluegill, and black crappie as fish found in Lake Cannon.
