Star Theatres was a Michigan-based American movie theater chain owned at various times by Loeks Star Partners, Loews Cineplex Entertainment, and later AMC Theatres. It began as a partnership between Jim and Barrie Loeks and Columbia Pictures Entertainment, which owned Loews Theatres in the 1980s. The Loeks designed and ran the chain, staying based in Michigan.

The chain was known for friendly service, fancy interiors, many screens, and, in some locations, stadium seating. It gained prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s as megaplexes became popular. The Southfield and Auburn Hills locations were its flagship theaters.

Star Theatres used the slogans Love*Laugh*Live and Larger than Life. In 2002, the Loeks sold their 50% stake to Loews Cineplex Theatres. The chain was later sold to AMC Theatres in 2006 when Loews was bought by AMC, and the theaters were rebranded as AMC in 2018. The Southfield location closed in 2020, and the Fairlane Town Center location closed in 2022.
