LGBTQ rights in the Pitcairn Islands
- Legal status: Same-sex sexual activity is legal. Discrimination based on sexual orientation is banned by the 2010 Pitcairn Constitution Order.
- Relationships and family: Marriage is defined as the union of two people regardless of sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Same-sex marriage has been legal since 14 May 2015. The Same Sex Marriage and Civil Partnerships Ordinance 2015 also allows for recognition of civil partnerships performed outside Pitcairn. Adoption is legal for married, unmarried, and single people, so same-sex couples can adopt.
- Military service: LGBT people may serve openly in the British Armed Forces, as defense is the responsibility of the UK.
- Background: Pitcairn’s laws are influenced by English law, and same-sex marriage was introduced in 2015.
