Kyle Rees
Kyle Rees (born 9 July 1988 in Port Talbot, Wales) is a Welsh actor. He loved theatre from a young age and studied at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, graduating in 2010.
He first became widely known on television in Hollyoaks as Blue, a role that showed the darker side of people. He later appeared in Emmerdale. His international fame came from the 2014 BAFTA-winning film Pride, where he played Carl, a pivotal character who helps bring two very different communities together in a small Welsh town.
In 2015, Rees played Calo Caine in FX Network’s The Bastard Executioner, a medieval drama created by Kurt Sutter. He has also appeared in Outlander as John Quincy Myers.
